Resources for Students and Advisors
RESOURCES TO HELP YOU SUCCEED
Please take advantage of the resources we have provided here. You may download, copy, and distribute any handouts or materials (attributing to the "Pre-Law Transfer Project" or other source where indicated). If you have resources you would like us to share with others, send them to for inclusion on the website.
If you are a student at a two-year institution planning ultimately to attend law school, your planning process should begin before you arrive on your four-year school's campus. These materials will help you do just that.
The Pre-Law Transfer Student Project is a joint project of Julie Lantrip (Tarrant County College), Wendy L. Watson (University of North Texas), and Miguel Moran-Lanier (University California, Santa Barbara).
Please contact for more information.
Many advisors at two-year institutions lack the resources and network to point students in the right direction. These materials can help. Please, also, contact with your name, e-mail, institution, and state so we can add you to our online directory. There is power in numbers.
Transfer students have special concerns and distinct needs, all of which need to be addressed with urgency. Learn how to reach out to community colleges and set this population of students up for success.
